Construction jobs
Up to 250 workers will be on-site over the 12 months of construction. This includes heavy equipment operators, electricians, laborers, and many other types of construction contractors.

Operations jobs
Two to four full-time operations workers will operate and maintain the site, in addition to the use of local contractors for goods and services.

Local tax revenue
More than $22 million in new tax revenue to the Canton Independent School District and more than $9 million in new tax revenue to Van Zandt County over the life of the project.

State tax revenue
More than $5 million in state franchise taxes over the life of the project.

Lease payments
Long-term lease payments to the project landowners.

New demand
Increased demand during construction for local vendors and services including lodging, food services, gasoline, and groceries.
